A Mobile Application to Improve the Management of Social Crm

Social media is profoundly changing our behavior and our expectations and hence the relationship between brands and their customers. Social CRM takes this upheaval into account and enriches “traditional” CRM by extending the scope of customer relationship management to social platforms: companies benefit from an additional channel to communicate and interact directly with their customers and prospects and thus acquire a better knowledge or even a different vision of their market at least to date of part of their market .

But for a social CRM strategy to generate added value, all the departments of the company that are involved in customer relationship management must be involved: the marketing in charge of acquisition and loyalty campaigns, customer service guaranteeing satisfaction, the sales force for monitoring and managing their accounts, etc. Optimizing access to information and its sharing between employees is therefore crucial: it is about ensure that messages from social media are assigned to the right people so that they are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

In this regard, Apple’s Flipboard application, which offers a new way of reading the web, can be used by the company as a tool to help manage social content and relationships with its network. Available on iPad and iPhone, Flipboard aggregates textual and visual content from websites and social media that interest you and reformats them to deliver them in a graphic and ergonomic page form, with a magazine-like layout. You then browse through this content as if you were leafing through a digital newspaper.

You can easily view and consult all the content (news, photos, links, etc.) that you publish on your Facebook and Twitter accounts (to follow the interfaces with other platforms, in particular LinkedIn) and those published by your contacts. Applied to the professional environment, the experience becomes a dynamic, interactive and collaborative press review, which synthesizes the contributions of your company’s ecosystem on the social web.

For your teams, an application such as Flipboard is therefore a great tool for viewing, sharing and real-time processing of information from social media. In addition, the possibility of creating a personalized web 2.0 magazine and the simple and intuitive navigation are important factors for a rapid appropriation of the tool by the users. By combining the use of Flipboard on iPad with a social CRM solution, your employees have new tools to improve their multimedia customer relationship management.

Integrate COSMIC, the social CRM solution from update software, to identify and collect contributions from the social web relevant to your business. You can then follow in real time what is being said about your company and its products on social media, including Facebook and Twitter, and have this information anywhere and anytime on your iPad. This classification will serve as a reading grid to analyze the data collected and decide on the action to be implemented.

Flipboard gives you all this information in a clear, synthetic and structured way. By combining the advantages of collaboration, digital and mobility, access to social web information sources in Flipboard format allows optimal management of your social CRM.

Managing a Hotel’s Reputation in the Social Media

Whether we talk about a hotel, a restaurant, or a pub, it is highly important for a property’s chain manager to keep track of the property’s reputation on different channels. Guests can leave comments on multiple review sites and social media pages and keeping track for all these sites can prove problematic.

To address this issue, web applications that can handle all the sites are developed, so you can review every guest comment from the most popular channels within a single page, without visiting those channels one by one. Data for each property (hotel) is collected from, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Twitter, Google.

Plus and many other channels through a single application, so the manager of the property chain can monitor them all within a single site. The best thing is that the manager can create notifications to alert her if notable changes occurred, such as a sudden drop/rise of the average rating or an increase/decrease of the number of bad comments.

The best solution is to split everything in two parts, one for viewing and generating reports based on reviews, the other for management, used to create events and posts, The manager can create reports based on the data, filter them for good and bad reviews and send statistics to the hotel staff.

The solution also includes a part that allows the manager to manage all the channels from which reviews are collected. This makes possible easy updates of the Facebook or Twitter status through a single click for the chosen properties, creating events and campaigns for the chosen guests, and sending private messages to those guests via email, SMS and social media pages.

In the “Internet” era more and more activities happens online, including the property reviewing process. It thus becomes really important for hotel managers to keep up with the technology and rely on the best solutions to improve the reputation of their property. A bad reputation leads to loss of guests.

So using an effective solution to monitor these reviews in real time and act swiftly upon them can greatly improve the health of the business. The reputation management solution will provide hoteliers access to up to date comments of people who visited their properties and enable the online management of the comments.

The Perfect Conference for Java Development Companies

The Arabian presence at detox the annual European Java, Android, and conference is a tradition. the day and the hour we woke up to be in time for the airport check-in, which looks more like the bedtime hour for a programmer. At the end a two hour flight, followed by a two hour train ride, we arrived at Antwerp Central.  If we were to place ourselves somewhere in time using Java, the code would look like.

You would be surprised to know that we traveled years back in time; that is the first impression one gets from the imposing railway station built . After a few hours of rest (sleep for some), we went out to discover how wonderful the city. The following day we eagerly made it to Cinepolis Antwerpian, the cinema complex hosting the event; after receiving the access wristbands we attended the first presentation .

Java beyond keynote about novelties, held by the famous Mark Reinhold and Brian Goetz. Being interested in Lambda Expressions, I decided to continue with a more detailed and technical presentation by Brian Goetz: Lambda. A Peek Under the Hood. A tweet posted during the conference perfectly describes the changes, the direction. and the principles behind Java Core Language Principle. Reading code is more important than writing code.

The same day I watched two other interesting presentations: one by Mark Reinhold about the future modularization of the Java Platform (to be implemented, most probably, starting with Java. The second, what Java EE can learn from dynamic languages?, was a very interesting approach bearing Remi Forex’s signature.

In Cloud Patterns , the first presentation of the second day, Nicolas De loaf described a few patterns and directions which must be followed when moving applications to the Cloud. Later, Nathan Bigness, using Hadoop and Storm, presented the very interesting architecture of a real time application.

The climax of the second day was Jonas Bonner’s presentation about the biggest trend du jour: Reactive Programing. In Going Reactive: Event-Driven, Scalable & Resilient Systems, he showed the model of future applications, in which everything becomes asynchronous to avoid resource blocking.

On the last day of the conference, Google delighted us with a demo of Google Glass, their latest gadget. In addition to exhibiting such features as hardware performance and design, Google also delved into how applications can be developed for this device. The last presentation I attended focused on Server Side JavaScript, which is a quite a new concept.

Its subject was Avatar.js, Server-Side JavaScript on the Java Platform, which is based on a node model but at the same time benefits from the Java platform advantages. Detox is an extraordinarily diverse place, where one can meet and exchange ideas with people from all over the world. One of the tweets we could see on the live Twitter wall during the presentation breaks summarized the event perfectly.

Detox, the place where Flemish people speaks English to Flemish people“. We too had a similar experience in the tram: after politely asking someone at what stop we should get off for the railway station we continued our conversation in Romanian and the guy we had just spoken to in English asked us in Romanian: “Are you from Romania?”.

The overall experience was great: there have been excellent reviews in high quality presentations. I consider Detox the place where every software company that develops Java based software solutions must be present.

Kids Animation Software

The best time to learn any skill in life is during childhood, children born in this century next to the computer and because of this is that they are working with all the software they have at their disposal, many parents looking for kids animation software because they want their children start in the world of animation, there are currently few kids animation software that are specifically for them.

The best way to choose a kids animation software is analyzing the characteristics of the best 3D software, the best feature for a child must be the ease of use of the program, the software should have a simple and intuitive interface so that the child does not feel frustrated when looking for a profit. The kids animation software must also have a language that is understandable by a child, with manuals easy to understand to be the best option.

Tutorials and videos that keep the children attentive during the learning process. Another determining factor in choosing a kids animation software is the cost, many times parents can not afford the excessive cost of some 3d programs, but there are very good with excellent programs whose cost is accessible for most parents. To end this post I want to recommend a kids animation software, the best I’ve found with the characteristics described above, Illusion Mage.

I mean, is affordable and very good features, best of all, if not your expectations you can return it and get your money, but then you try it you will not ever return. Is the question many are asking today, the best way to find out is by listing the characteristics that have the best animation software . First cite the cost, the best software must be accessible to all people regardless of their economic situation without exaggeration.

There are good animation software but whose costs are too high, still inaccessible to many. Another feature that should have the best  animation software is the possession of an easy to use; there are many beginners who are frustrated because they find it very difficult to access the functions of a complicated interface. The best software also must have a good quality final product.

There are 3d programs have reduced cost and therefore have also reduced their quality, but this does not happen with everyone, there are good programs and affordable with very good qualities. As a final quality that we consider choosing the best animation software is the possibility of having to reach a gallery of tutorials and preferably be in videos, so anyone can learn and remove all doubt without making much effort.

After analyzing the minimum requirements for the best software . I found a 3D program that meets these characteristics, called Illusion Mage and what pleased me most is that this program 3d addition to possessing the characteristics that need to also give me the option to return this software if it does not meet my expectations, of course since. I bought it and I have not returned it back, I’ll leave the link so you can review it and take advantage of discounts.
